Job Summary • The Engagement Assistant supports the Director of Engagement in carrying out daily programs, • and activities that enhance the quality of life for residents. This role is hands-on and resident-, • focused, helping to create a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment through meaningful, • interactions and activities., • Actively engage with residents throughout the day in a positive and meaningful way, • Encourage participation in group activities and events, • Provide 1:1 engagement for residents who may not attend group programs, • Build relationships with residents to understand their interests and preferences, • Assist in carrying out daily activities, events, and scheduled programs, • Help set up and clean up activity spaces before and after events, • Support outings and special events as needed, • Assist with holiday celebrations and themed activities, • Work closely with the Director of Engagement to execute the monthly activity calendar, • Communicate resident feedback and participation trends, • Support other departments as needed to enhance resident experience, • Help maintain a welcoming, energetic, and resident-centered environment, • Promote a hospitality-focused atmosphere in all interactions, • Ensure activity areas are organized, clean, and ready for use, • Follow all community safety and infection control protocols, • Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality at all times, • Ensure proper supervision of residents during activities, • Perform other duties as assigned.
