Title: Property Manager (Surveyor) \n Duration: ASAP Start - 27th November 2026 (Paternity Leave Cover) \n Location: One Centenary Way, Birmingham, West Midlands, B3 3AY (Potential support across other locations), United Kingdom. \n \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial office building or portfolio.\n, • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, tenants, contractors, and vendors.\n, • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.\n, • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and reconciliations.\n, • Review financial statements, occupancy reports, and lease expirations.\n, • Oversee lease administration, lease compliance, and tenant onboarding activities.\n, • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, capital projects, and tenant improvement works.\n, • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure operational excellence and compliance.\n, • Manage service contracts, vendor performance, and procurement activities.\n, • Support tenant move-ins and move-outs while minimizing operational disruption.\n, • Work closely with engineering, facilities, and accounting teams to deliver property objectives.\n, • Provide regular updates to clients and leadership on operational and financial performance.\n\n \n Desired or Preferred Experience and Technical Skills \n\n • 2-4 years of commercial property management, surveying, or commercial real estate experience.\n, • Experience managing office or mixed-use commercial properties.\n, • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.\n, • Knowledge of lease administration, lease compliance, and tenant engagement.\n, • Experience managing maintenance, capital projects, and tenant improvement works.\n, • Strong understanding of building operations and facilities management.\n, • Experience managing contractors, service providers, and vendor relationships.\n, • Ability to analyse financial statements and property performance metrics.\n, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Degree in Real Estate, Property, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferred.\n, • LEED AP or LEED Green Associate accreditation preferred.\n, • Real Estate/Property Management Licence (or willingness to obtain within 6 months if required).\n\n \n Key Skills \n\n • Commercial Property Management\n, • Property Surveying\n, • Tenant Relationship Management\n, • Client-Facing Stakeholder Management\n, • Budgeting & Financial Reporting\n, • Lease Administration\n, • Vendor & Contractor Management\n, • Capital Projects\n, • Tenant Improvements\n, • Facilities & Building Operations\n, • Financial Analysis\n, • Commercial Real Estate\n\n \n Additional Information \n\n • Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.\n, • Typical hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00/5:30 PM.\n, • Client-facing role within a leading global real estate organisation.\n, • Potential opportunity to support additional sites and future contract assignments.\n, • Background checks required, including Criminal Record, Credit, Education, Employment, Right to Work, and ID Verification.\n\n
