Thebusinessoffersatrulyflexibleandhybridworkingapproach,whereyouwillbebasedattheirnewmodernofficesinthecentreofYork3daysperweek,withtheoptionoftheother2daysfromhome. SpecificRequirement: Yourinitialemphasiswillbeoncashflowmanagementandlenderliaison,butabroaderscopeisasfollows FinancialPlanning: Developandimplementfinancialprocessesandsystemsalignedwiththecompany'sgoalsandobjectives. Leadtheannualbudgetingprocessandprovideregularfinancialforecastsandanalysis. Evaluateandadvisetheexecutiveonthefinancialimpactofstrategicdecisions. Incollaborationwithseniorcolleagues,providedirectioninthedeploymentofthebusinessresources. FinancialManagement: Overseeallfinancialoperations,includingaccounting,budgeting,forecasting,reportingandcashflowmanagement. Adviseandchallengeseniorcolleaguesonfinancialmatters. Monitorandanalysefinancialperformance,identifyingareasforimprovementandcostreduction. Ensurecompliancewithfinancialregulationsandreportingrequirements. FinancialRiskManagement: Assessandmanagefinancialrisks,includingcredit,market,andoperationalrisks. Implementriskmitigationstrategiestosafeguardthecompany'sfinancialassets,facilitatingeffectivedecisionmakingbyothermanagers. Developsystems,processesandreportstoinformseniorleadersofthebusinessonriskappetiteandmitigationoffinancialdecisions. TeamLeadership: Providestrongleadershipandmentorshiptothefinanceandaccountingteam. Fosteracultureofhighperformance,continuousimprovement,andethicalbehaviour. Developandnurturetalent. Embodythebusinesscorevalues,leadingbyexampleandhelpingtodevelopthebroaderteam. Provenexperienceinaseniorfinancerole,notnecessarilyspecificallyasFD. Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills,withtheabilitytointerpretcomplexfinancialdataandmakestrategicrecommendations. Excellentleadership,communication,andinterpersonalskills. Strongunderstandingoffinancialandoperationaldriversineithertheenergy,infrastructureorsimilarlycomplexandtransferablesector.
