National Account Manager – Drive Commercial Growth in Food Manufacturing Location: Birmingham – Hybrid Salary: £42,000–£50,000 / Negotiable The Opportunity: Are you passionate about building customer relationships and driving commercial success? We are seeking a National Account Manager to support a growing portfolio in Retailer and Discounter channels. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced commercial team, contribute to key account growth, and play a pivotal role in product launches and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities: • Own a portfolio of accounts, build strong relationships, meet commercial targets, and identify growth opportunities, • Support strategic planning and execution for key accounts alongside the Commercial Manager, • Lead and coordinate product launches across channels, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, • Assist with commercial planning, monitoring performance, and providing analysis to support decisions, • Act as a key liaison between sales, supply chain, and finance teams, • Manage account administration, project trackers, and customer-facing documents, • Prepare engaging presentations and business reviews tailored to customer strategy, • Track project timelines and proactively follow up to ensure alignment across teams Candidate Profile: • 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, sales support, or national account role (Food Manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or discounter experience preferred), • Strong customer relationship and account management skills, • Commercially aware with understanding of pricing, promotions, and P&L impact, • Excellent project coordination and organizational skills, • Analytical thinker, confident working with data to support decisions, • Clear, confident communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders, • Team player with proactive, collaborative approach, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Benefits: Competitive salary, hybrid working, and the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing commercial team.
