Job Title: Teaching Assistant Tutor Location: West Yorkshire Salary: Up to £28k About the Role Our client is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant Tutor to join their team and support learners in achieving their qualifications and career goals. As the Teaching Assistant Tutor, you will be the first point of contact for learners, you will provide guidance, encouragement and structured learning to help individuals succeed throughout their journey. No two days will be the same, as you deliver training, support learner progress and help remove barriers to achievement. Key Responsibilities • Deliver educational qualifications in hubs, community venues, or online, ensuring accessible and engaging learning., • Manage a caseload of learners and provide personalised support throughout their learning journey., • Identify and help overcome barriers to learner achievement., • Work closely with recruitment and quality teams to improve curriculum and maintain high achievement rates., • Complete post-enrolment administration and ensure accurate documentation and compliance., • Monitor attendance, conduct assessments, provide feedback and complete marking., • Invigilate examinations where required., • Maintain professional standards through CPD and embed Safeguarding and British Values in delivery., • Participate in external quality assurance processes., • Represent our client professionally at events, engaging with learners, employers and referral partners such as Jobcentre Plus. About You They are looking for someone who can inspire and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds. You should ideally have: • Experience in teaching or training learners, • Knowledge of SEND, Autism or Forest Schools (desirable), • Recent frontline experience relevant to the qualifications delivered, • A Level 3 teaching qualification (AET or PTLLS) and an assessing qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32 or D33), • Occupational competency in the subject(s) taught, • A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel, • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings (discussed at interview) If you don’t yet hold these qualifications, you will have the opportunity to gain them through their Academy – fully funded.
