Job DescriptionBilingual Medical Receptionist / Patient Access Representative Are you bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy helping patients while keeping a busy medical office running smoothly? We're seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist / Patient Access Representative to join a busy healthcare team. In this role, you'll welcome patients, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and provide exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish. This position offers $22.00 per hour. In this position, you will be one of the first points of contact for patients and will help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in through scheduling, registration, insurance verification, payment collection, and general front desk support. What you’ll do: • Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner, • Register and update patient information accurately in the system, • Schedule appointments, manage patient forms, and support recall lists, • Verify medical insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals (if applicable), demographic information, and billing information, • Collect co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and process payments, • Assist with patient portal enrollment and scanning documents into patient records, • Provide Spanish interpretation support as needed, • Answer phones, assist with patient questions, and support the front desk teamWhat we’re looking for:, • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, • Strong customer service, phone etiquette, and communication skills, • Accurate data entry and comfort working on a computer throughout the day, • Prior front desk, medical office, scheduling, insurance verification, or patient access experience is strongly preferred, • Ability to multitask in a busy environment while remaining professional and patient-focused, • High school diploma or GED requiredSchedule requirement:This position requires flexibility to work rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, including weekends as needed.Important application note: Candidates selected to move forward must be willing to complete skills assessments in Excel, Microsoft Word, typing, and Spanish fluency as part of the interview process. These assessments help confirm the skills needed to be successful in this role.
