HSS is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our national sales team in our Stadium and Events expansion division. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the company’s growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within stadiums, arenas, live events, festivals, convention centers, and large-scale venues. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and securing staffing contracts for high-volume, high-profile events. The BDM will work closely with operations, recruiting, and leadership teams to deliver customized staffing solutions that support event success and client satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities Market Research and Analysis: • Conduct in-depth market research focused on stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and major event venues to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats., • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, sports and entertainment conferences, and online research., • Identify and qualify stadium, event production companies, venue management groups, promoters, and event organizers as potential clients., • Develop and execute a business development plan specific to stadiums and large-scale event staffing., • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at stadiums, arenas, and event organizations., • Understand client needs including crowd size, event schedules, staffing volumes, compliance, and operational timelines., • Lead sales efforts including proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations for stadium and event staffing contracts., • Present HSS as a trusted staffing partner capable of supporting large crowds, high-security environments, and premium guest experiences., • Identify and negotiate partnerships with stadium operators, event management firms, promoters, and venue groups., • Identify and evaluate expansion opportunities within professional sports, collegiate athletics, concerts, festivals, and large-scale special events., • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on stadium and events business development initiatives., • Track sales performance, revenue growth, and market penetration within the stadium and events segment. Qualifications • 3+ years of outside sales focused business development experience, preferably within hospitality, stadiums, events, or large-scale venues., • Proven success in business development or sales with a history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets., • Strong understanding of the stadium, events, hospitality, or live entertainment industries is a plus., • Knowledge of market research and sales strategy development., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment., • Experience using Salesforce, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint., • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities., • Willingness to travel to stadiums, events, and client meetings nationwide up to 50% Compensation The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.
