AV Programmer\nLocation: East Midlands / North / South (Hybrid working - office & home-based)\nSalary: £40,000 to £50,000 per annum\nHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nI am recruiting on behalf of one of Europe's largest IT and technology organisations, offering an outstanding opportunity for an experienced AV Programmer to join a growing, forward-thinking installation team.\n\nThis is an ideal role for a technically strong AV Programmer who enjoys working on high-profile corporate and public-sector projects, values quality delivery, and wants long-term career progression within a stable, well-invested business.\n\nThe company operates a hybrid working model, supports continuous professional development, and places genuine emphasis on inclusion, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nJoin a market-leading IT & AV organisation with a strong reputation across the UK and Europe\nCompetitive salary with a comprehensive, flexible benefits packages\nHybrid working with sensible core hours aligned to project requirements\nClear commitment to career development, training, and long-term progression\nInclusive, supportive culture with 2 paid volunteering days per year\nWork on complex, integrated AV solutions for enterprise-level clientsRole Purpose\n\nAs an AV Programmer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of AV installation projects, providing expert programming of integrated audio-visual control systems.\n\nWorking closely with installation engineers, project teams, and third-party partners, you will design, develop, test, and deploy custom AV control solutions that deliver reliable, intuitive, and high-quality user experiences.\n\nYou will be responsible for programming and configuring systems using platforms such as Crestron, AMX, and Extron, ensuring all solutions meet client specifications and operational expectations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and write AV control code using Crestron, AMX, and/or Extron platforms\nDesign and program bespoke control solutions tailored to client requirements\nLoad compiled code onto completed AV systems and carry out full functionality testing\nUpload source and compiled code to internal repositories for documentation and version control\nDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system faults efficiently\nCollaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project delivery\nMaintain high-quality standards when working independently or as part of a team\nDemonstrate a proactive, "can-do" attitude focused on customer satisfaction\nCommunicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and clients\nAttend training courses to stay up to date with emerging AV technologiesSkills & Experience Required\n\nProven experience working with corporate and/or government clients\nStrong background in AV systems programming and integration\nExperience working within multi-disciplinary project teams\nUnderstanding of AV integration within IT and networked environments\nConfident engaging with senior stakeholders, consultants, and end clients\nWillingness to travel to client sites and project locations when requiredEquality & Inclusion\n\nMy client is fully committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, providing a workplace where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
