Project Manager – Modular Platforms Programme - LEADING ONLINE DATA BROKER Location: Nottingham (London-based candidates considered with office attendance) Contract Length: 11 months (to end of March) Rate: £575 per day (Inside IR35) Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (flexible to support global collaboration) Role Overview We are seeking an energetic, execution-focused Project Manager to support a Global Modular Platforms Programme, a strategic initiative designed to enhance the developer experience for a global developer community of approximately 6,000 developers across 40+ countries. The programme aims to create a single entry point to a suite of modular tools and capabilities, with AI at the core, reducing siloed ways of working and standardising platforms across the organisation. You will work closely with Security Operations (Sec Ops), IT Service Management (ITSM), Cloud Modular Platform teams, and multiple Product Owners. This role has a strong emphasis on stakeholder management, cross-team coordination, and delivery momentum, supporting five modular platforms that currently do not have dedicated Project Managers. Key Responsibilities Project & Work Package Planning • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource models, and budgets, • Lead and coordinate work across multiple modular platform teams, • Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and delivery alignment, • Drive pace, progress, and dependency management across global teams, • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, Product Owners, and technical teams, • Manage complex stakeholder environments across business units and geographies, • Provide clear, regular status updates, dashboards, and presentations, • Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks and issues, • Implement mitigation strategies and resolve delivery blockers, • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards and business requirements, • Track delivery performance using KPIs and metrics, • Track project budgets and manage resource utilisation, • Ensure effective allocation of internal and external resources, • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation, • Strong end-to-end project management and organisational skills, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, • Proven experience coordinating multi-team, cross-functional delivery, • Strong risk management and problem-solving skills, • Budget, resource, and dependency management experience, • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments, • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making capability, • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence) Experience Required Essential: • 5–7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager or similar role, • Proven delivery of projects to scope, budget, and timeline, • Experience working with product teams and Product Owners, • Strong background in digital product delivery (e.g. platforms, portals, web or app-based products), • Experience working across cross-functional teams and multiple business units, • Experience delivering modular, platform, or technical programmes, • Exposure to AI-enabled products or platforms, • Experience within financial services (highly transferable), • Background in retail, logistics, or cost-sensitive industries, • Developer platform or developer portal experience Qualifications • Degree-level education or equivalent experience, • Desirable certifications:, • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or equivalent, • Agile certification (e.g. Certified Scrum Master) – beneficial but not essential Working Environment • Global delivery model with collaboration across time zones (Malaysia to California), • “Follow-the-sun” team structure, with PMs located globally (UK, Sofia, India, Brazil), • UK hire acts as a stable core resource within the programme, • Flexible working hours to support global overlap, • Nottingham-based team, with London-based candidates considered What Makes a Candidate Stand Out • Strong product-focused mindset, • Clear experience working closely with Product Owners, • Demonstrable success in complex stakeholder environments, • Ability to integrate quickly into established teams, • Confident, proactive, and delivery-driven approach
