Job Description Commercial Lines Account Manager JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel. Essential Functions included but not limited to: Grow and develop talents and insurance knowledge to highest level possible. Collect premiums per established agency procedures. Work directly with carriers/brokers to provide them with any information needed on renewals and/or changes being made to policy. Prepare company submissions for renewal business quotes and prepare proposals of insurance, including visits to clients with producer when requested. Prepare and process endorsement requests for Commercial Lines clients. Prepare and process cancellations/reinstatements when required. Prepare and process certificates of insurance occasionally as required within 24 hours of request. Review all applications, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy. Invoice all premium-bearing transactions. Notify producer of any unpaid balances on account and request appropriate actions be made according to agency collections procedure. Job Description Thompson Engineering is currently seeking a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Project Manager for the Quality Acceptance Team on the West Alabama Highway Design Build Project. This progressive design-build project includes the widening of rural highways 43 and 69 from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway as well as the addition of new bypasses along the 74-mile route from Thomasville to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Along with the widening and bypass construction, the project will involve construction of 23 new bridges, drainage, land clearing and grubbing, relocation of utilities, and the installation of over 100 box culverts. The project will be divided into 13 segments, each averaging 5.7 miles in length. The Project Manager will support as the point of contact between the Design Build/Quality Acceptance Team and the Owner Verification Team on one or multiple segments of the project. The successful applicant will have a proven track record as a commercial construction superintendent dealing with new, ground up construction as well as additions and interior renovations. Experience in the construction of restaurants, petroleum/convenience store, bank/credit union and retail projects highly desired. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing the following duties: • Coordination of all field personnel and trade contractors to ensure that the project is successfully completed on schedule and within budget., • Working effectively with subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship in accordance with project plans and specifications as well as customer requirements., • Effectively manage project construction schedule and coordinate with all parties to ensure project is completed by designated turnover date., • Maintains professional and positive relationships with customers, trade contractors, suppliers, and fellow team members., • Maintains effective relations with local building officials and inspectors. Schedules all necessary inspections and material delivery in a manner that ensures on time schedule performance., • Maintains an organized and safe worksite by ensuring that WH Bass safety policies are carried out. For this position you must be able to travel to project sites across the Southeast. The project you will be working on will be primarily large-scale multifamily construction projects.
