Job DescriptionPrimary Job Title: Human Resources Intern Alternate/Related Job Titles: • HR Assistant Intern, • Human Resources Coordinator Intern, • People Operations Intern, • HR Generalist Intern Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details: • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 12 months, • Start: September 22, 2025, • End: September 21, 2026, • Manage employee medical leave tracking and procedures, • Maintain confidential and accurate HR records, • Assist with compliance reports, audits, and policy updates, • Serve on the Quality Audit teamManagement of Employee Benefits, • Ensure accurate new hire benefit enrollment and COBRA notifications, • Maintain annual benefits summary sheets and vendor reporting, • Submit data for Total Rewards StatementsEmployee Engagement, • Coordinate employee recognition and attendance programs, • Support planning of wellness initiatives, town halls, and special events, • Manage internal media communications and announcementsReporting & Analytics, • Generate weekly attendance, hours, and headcount reports, • Support finance team with cost center and HRA reporting, • Assist with month-end and year-end HR reportingHR Operations & Priorities, • Support interview scheduling and new hire onboarding, • Manage HRIS data and update HR communications, • Assist with payroll and benefits inquiries, • Help maintain office policies and coordinate IT/equipment needs, • Participate in corporate initiatives, birthdays, anniversaries, and recognition programsRequired Experience & Skills:, • Proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook), • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information, • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic HR environmentPreferred Skills:, • Familiarity with HRIS or HR software systems, • Understanding of HR compliance and employment law, • Experience with event coordination and employee engagement activitiesEducation:, • High school diploma required; pursuing or holding an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferredBenefits:, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans We are a Native American-owned, economically disadvantaged corporation that highly values diverse and inclusive workplaces.
