Job Description SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate performs duties that include receiving and processing incoming equipment and materials, driving to pick up and/or drop off material, picking and filling orders from inventory, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, and retrieving equipment and materials in the warehouse. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Receives, directs, and unloads customer and vendor-supplied material arriving at the warehouse, • Drives Box Truck and 1 Ton truck or larger with w/trailers to transport materials and equipment to and from vendors, customers, and job site locations, • Verifies BOM/BOL documents match materials being shipped and received into and out of the warehouse, • Uses warehouse equipment to move and store material to correct locations, according to management’s direction, • Performs general housekeeping duties, • Identifies and reports observations that affect schedule, quality, and safety, • Assists in the assembly and preparation of site kit materials and packages for shipping, • Breaks down, de-commissions, and recycles site materials returned to the warehouse from the field, • Assists warehouse staff in performing other duties, including but not limited to:, • Performs maintenance and upgrading duties in the Premise facility, warehouse, and yard to include light construction, fabrication, and grounds keeping, • Evaluates, services, and stores company tools and equipment, • Prepares harvested site equipment for return, • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • All employees must demonstrate the ability to promote and embody the Premise Core Values: Be Ready to Learn, Own the Result, Build Trust, Do the Right Thing, and Drive to Complete., • In addition to the above, other required qualifications for this role are:, • 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse/driver environment, facilities maintenance, construction, or similar role, • Ability to work 1st Shift: Hours of Operations Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 PM, • Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and maintain a strong sense of urgency throughout the day., • Demonstrates a proactive attitude and a willingness to take direction to get the job done., • Basic understanding of hand tools and their safe usage., • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, projects, and workflow, • Ability to meet deadlines and follow schedules and step-by-step action plans, • Ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and succinctly through spoken and written forms with peers, management, and vendors. Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds., • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving record, • Ability to travel to off-site job locations (occasionally), which would include overnight stays. Preferred qualifications are: • High school diploma or GED, • Effectively use Premise provided software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Software, Project Management Software, and the ability to learn other software, as needed, • Class A CDL with air brake endorsement, • Valid certifications and licensing: Osha 10, First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, DOT Health Card, Forklift operation (Company provides training to assist in obtaining/renewing required certifications), • General knowledge of construction practices, quality, safety, and OSHA guidelines OTHER REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: • Adaptability, Change Management - Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes or ambiguity in work tasks or the work environment. Monitors safety or security issues after taking corrective action to ensure continued compliance. Demonstrates the organization’s safety procedures and best practices and is a role model for the desired behaviors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, walk, lift, squat, push, pull, climb stairs or ladders, hear, see, reach, grasp and use hands and fingers to operate a telephone, power tools, and equipment. The employee must have the ability to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will work both inside in a warehouse environment and outside in a warehouse/supply yard. The employee may be occasionally exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold, and wet or humid. The employee will work around moving mechanical parts, vehicles and other equipment. The employee may also work in areas where the noise volume is loud and constant. The employee must have the ability to work overtime and to travel to remote job sites.
