Job DescriptionMachine Operators-Level 1 and 2 positions availablePay Ranges: Machine Operator I: $19–$27/hour, depending on experience Machine Operator II: $22–$30/hour, depending on experience Schedule: 12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Schedule Options: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday Position Overview We are seeking Machine Operators to join our clients continuous 24/7 manufacturing operation. These positions are responsible for operating, monitoring, setting up, and troubleshooting specialized media production equipment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment performance. They are hiring at both the Machine Operator I and Machine Operator II levels, with compensation based on experience, technical knowledge, and demonstrated ability. Machine Operator I is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude who is looking to develop advanced equipment and process skills. Machine Operator II is designed for an experienced operator who can independently perform equipment setups, changeovers, adjustments, quality checks, and routine troubleshooting. This level may also assist with training and supporting less-experienced operators. All operators will receive specialized training and may have the opportunity to participate in extended international training, including up to 3 months in Germany. Key Responsibilities • Safely operate and monitor media production equipment to maintain stable and efficient production, • Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers, • Monitor machine performance and make routine adjustments as needed, • Perform in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications, • Identify and troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary, • Apply mechanical knowledge to identify potential causes of equipment and process issues, • Monitor production parameters and identify trends or abnormalities that could affect quality or productivity, • Support new product introductions, process trials, equipment startups, and process adjustments, • Perform basic preventive maintenance and operator-level equipment care, • Assist Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams with troubleshooting and equipment repairs, • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, efficiency, uptime, and production performance, • Maintain accurate production, quality, downtime, and process records, • Handle materials, labeling, packaging, and internal material movement as required, • Follow all safety, quality, production, and equipment operating procedures, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, • Assist with training and supporting newer operators as experience and skill level allow, • Work collaboratively with Production Leads, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, • Perform other related duties as assigned Check out our Google Reviews Visit us on LinkedIn and Facebook company pages If not the right job for you, tell a friend! #ZR Machine Operator I – Qualifications • Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred, • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn complex equipment and processes, • Ability to follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and production specifications, • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality, • Ability to identify and communicate equipment or process issues, • Basic computer skills for production reporting and data entry, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, • Ability and willingness to work a 24/7 rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, • Willingness to travel internationally for specialized training, potentially for up to 3 months, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., • Forklift experience preferred Machine Operator II – QualificationsIn addition to the qualifications above, Machine Operator II candidates should have: • 4–7 years of manufacturing, machine operating, production, or related industrial experience, • Demonstrated ability to independently operate manufacturing or production equipment, • Experience with machine setups, changeovers, adjustments, and routine troubleshooting, • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of complex manufacturing equipment, • Experience performing in-process quality inspections, • Ability to independently identify and resolve routine equipment and process issues, • Ability to interpret work instructions, SOPs, production specifications, and technical documentation, • Experience assisting with the training or development of other machine operators preferred, • Experience working with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams, • Ability to monitor production parameters and recognize conditions that may affect quality or equipment performance Preferred Experience for Machine Operator II • Automated or technically complex manufacturing equipment, • Mechanical or process troubleshooting, • Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, or similar manufacturing practices, • Training or mentoring junior machine operators, • Documenting downtime, quality issues, production performance, or corrective actions, • Supporting equipment startups, new product introductions, or process improvements Employees must be flexible and able to work assigned 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
