While assigning work, consider variety of job assignments, and clarify work requirements and duties, as needed., • Work cooperatively with Quality Assurance, ensure use of blueprints with necessary instructions, and inspect work in process and completed work for conformance to specifications., • Complete all necessary paperwork and inspections accurately and in a timely manner, including: preparing required production reports; inspecting equipment and areas for maintenance and repair and abuse; requesting materials and supplies (other than raw materials); production and time records., • Promote a positive attitude to instill confidence in other supervision., • Facilitate CI teams under area of responsibility and monitor CI metrics and set goals to insure positive improvements. Conduct Kaizan & Kanban Events and Value Stream Mapping., • Be a positive role model, provide encouragement and motivation, and ensure the team is provided a safe environment and uses safe working practices., • Encourage employee training and development and access training needs for both new and current employees and provide employees the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
