Title: Lidar Analyst Location: Lafayette, LA Schedule: Hybrid - Monday - Wednesday in Office and Thursday - Friday at Home Pay: $18.00/Hour and up NO C2C and NO THIRD PARTIES Key Responsibilities: Delivery Excellence: • Process lidar data according to project-specific requirements: boresight, TerraScan macro development, manual editing/QC, and generation of derived products., • Perform independent quality review of other staff members' work., • Conduct final quality reviews to verify conformance to specifications and requirements., • Understand factors affecting production, such as time allotted, quality and quantity metrics, and project specifications., • Recognize and solve problems in a timely manner to keep projects on schedule, using independent judgment to determine courses of action., • Assist the technical/team lead or department supervisor in scheduling and expediting work processes., • Sharing Information:, • Report to the technical/team lead or department supervisor on project status and any matters that may negatively affect product quality., • Offer technical support and input for the team, management, peers, and clients regarding procedures and specifications., • Provide written and oral reports on technical and professional issues as needed., • Innovation & Continuous Improvement:, • Exercise creativity in identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and increase efficiency through data-driven insights and process improvements., • Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings., • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in analytical tools and techniques; recommend tools or methods that could enhance analytical capabilities., • Assist in creating and enforcing information security standards, policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university., • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, • Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or project performance analysis., • Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python/R., • Strong understanding of project environments and performance measurement., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations., • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and workflow improvement.
