Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Pay Rate: $70.00 - $72.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly) Work Model: Onsite Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered Summary of the Role: BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support one of our client’s most mission-critical semiconductor manufacturing sites in Richardson, Texas. This role is ideal for a highly skilled infrastructure professional with expertise in enterprise and industrial networking environments who thrives in fast-paced, cutting-edge manufacturing operations. The Network Engineer will architect, deploy, maintain, and optimize both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) network infrastructure supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing systems. This position will play a key role in supporting AI-driven automation, advanced process control (APC), fault detection systems (FDC), and secure manufacturing communications through next-generation Special Use Networks (SUN). The ideal candidate will bring deep Cisco networking expertise, strong OT networking experience, and the ability to collaborate across manufacturing, engineering, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT teams. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide operational support for enterprise and manufacturing network infrastructure, including SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, and OT communications environments., • Support Cisco-based routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and network security technologies., • Design and deploy Special Use Networks (SUN) to securely segment critical manufacturing operations from enterprise environments., • Collaborate with manufacturing, process, and equipment engineering teams to support automation and equipment integration initiatives., • Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues across IT and OT layers., • Support migration efforts from enterprise-wide authentication models to site-level domain controller authentication environments., • Maintain high availability, redundancy, resiliency, and disaster recovery strategies across manufacturing network infrastructure., • Participate in daily operational meetings and cross-functional support calls to resolve infrastructure and communications issues., • Monitor network health, utilization, and performance using enterprise monitoring and alerting tools., • Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards, and change management records., • Work closely with Corporate IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices., • Support DevOps-oriented networking operations, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD integrations, version control, and automation initiatives., • Assist with deployment and support of advanced semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure technologies. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field., • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise and industrial/manufacturing network infrastructure., • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies., • Experience supporting factory floor OT networking environments (Level 2/3 OT) integrated with enterprise IT networks (Level 3.5/4)., • Strong knowledge of:, • Firewalls, • VPNs, • VLANs, • Subnetting, • DNS/DHCP, • NAT, • Routing and Switching, • Experience with network segmentation, redundancy, resiliency, and disaster recovery planning., • Experience supporting high availability and QoS protocols., • Familiarity with DevOps network operations and automation practices:, • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), • CI/CD pipelines, • Monitoring and alerting systems, • Version control systems, • 2+ years of PowerShell scripting experience., • Experience with Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow., • Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field., • CCNA certification or equivalent networking certification., • Experience with multi-vendor network environments including Cisco, Arista, Dell, and Palo Alto., • Experience with network patching and security hardening tools such as Tanium or CHEF., • Familiarity with backup and recovery platforms including Rubrik, Veeam, Commvault, or Zerto., • Understanding of:, • SCADA systems, • MES platforms, • Industrial protocols, • Manufacturing equipment integration, • IT/OT convergence architectures, • Knowledge of layered industrial network architectures, DMZs, secure remote access, and redundant topologies., • Excellent collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills., • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in highly technical environments.
