Join a team built on tradition, teamwork, respect, and community. We currently have an opening for a Sales Account Manager in our Sterman Masser Inc. office. The Sales Account Manager manages and grows assigned accounts, develops new business, and strengthens customer relationships. This role drives retail and food service sales while promoting the Masser Family of Companies. Essential Duties: • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retail and foodservice accounts, ensuring superior customer service and timely communication., • Maintain and grow sales volume, product lines, and profitability with current customers year-over-year., • Partner with sales leadership to identify and pursue new sales opportunities., • Develop sales strategies and proposals that meet customer needs and align with company objectives., • Present products, programs, and category insights to customers via Teams, phone, and in-person meetings., • Support the development of promotional programs and merchandising strategies to drive category growth., • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events to represent the Masser Family of Companies and build strong customer relationships., • Manage day-to-day order entry and fulfillment for assigned accounts, including coordination with internal production, logistics, and packaging teams., • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delivery appointments, and any potential issues., • Coordinate all aspects of rejections, short-shipped products, packaging discrepancies, and related issues in a professional and timely manner., • Provide weekly pricing updates, crop reports, and category insights to customers., • Work closely with operations, logistics, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of customer programs., • Provide feedback from the field regarding customer trends, competitive activity, and product opportunities., • Lead plant tours or customer visits as requested., • Provide office coverage and support for team members as needed., • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in produce, foodservice, or consumer packaged goods., • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred., • Proven track record of sales growth and relationship management., • Skilled negotiator and problem solver., • Ability to anticipate customer needs and build long-term business relationships., • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills., • Excellent attention to detail., • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to assess pricing, category trends, and performance data., • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team., • Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to customers, trade shows, and company facilities as required.
