Engage Talent Partners are working with our Great Yarmouth based client to source for a Group QHSE Lead. Our client is a leading provider in their field, delivering services to the renewables, marine and oil and gas sectors. In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems across the group and associated record keeping ensuring compliance with international standards, legal requirements and company objectives. Key responsibilities: • Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert and primary contact for all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) matters, providing authoritative guidance and support across the business., • Maintain, develop, and continuously enhance the company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring ongoing compliance and audit readiness., • Establish, monitor, and analyse quality performance KPIs, identifying trends and driving targeted actions to improve performance and outcomes., • Plan, conduct, and support internal audits, and manage external and supplier audits, ensuring findings are effectively documented, communicated, and closed., • Lead continuous improvement activities across engineering and operations, including NCR management, BI actions, OBS processes, change management, and effective communication of results., • Develop, review, and support the implementation of risk assessments, safe systems of work, safety procedures, and emergency response plans, ensuring they are understood and embedded throughout the organisation., • Monitor and report on HSE performance KPIs, identifying trends and supporting the development and implementation of improvement plans., • Champion and actively promote QHSE initiatives, including TOFS, TOFQ, and 6S, ensuring consistent engagement and adoption across all teams., • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented, communicated, and verified for effectiveness., • Promote and reinforce a positive safety culture through training, coaching, engagement activities, and visible leadership., • Monitor the organisation’s environmental performance, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and identifying opportunities to reduce risk and improve sustainability., • Implement waste reduction, resource efficiency, and sustainability initiatives aligned with the company’s ESG strategy and objectives., • Prepare environmental reports and maintain effective communication with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely submissions and proactive compliance management., • Provide QHSE input and expertise during project planning and delivery, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and controlled throughout the project lifecycle. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a QHSE role is essential, with demonstrable expertise across quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems. Candidates must hold a NEBOSH qualification and a Lead Auditor qualification, and be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of management systems, regulatory compliance, and best practice. Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation and influence continuous improvement.
