Overview: Our long-standing client is looking to appoint a BIM Manager to lead the development and implementation of BIM strategy, standards, and processes across the business on a 6-month FTC with the opportunity to be extended. This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for driving BIM adoption, ensuring high-quality model coordination, and supporting efficient project delivery across complex, multidisciplinary engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:BIM Strategy & Governance • Develop and implement BIM strategy, standards, and workflows aligned with business objectives, • Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and information management best practices, • Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project-specific requirements Model Coordination & Delivery • Lead multidisciplinary model coordination and clash detection, • Ensure model accuracy, quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards, • Conduct audits of BIM models and deliverables Systems & Data Management • Manage Common Data Environment (CDE), data structures, and naming conventions, • Oversee document control, versioning, and data integrity, • Support integration between BIM, CAD, and manufacturing systems Stakeholder & Team Leadership • Act as the key point of contact for BIM across internal teams and external stakeholders, • Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance, • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and BIM best practice adoption Essential Requirements: • Proven experience in a BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator role, • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM information management, • Proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks and/or MicroStation, • Strong understanding of engineering/design workflows, • Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) Desirable: • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or similar, • BIM certification (ISO 19650 / BIM Level 2), • Experience within manufacturing or complex engineering environments, • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Dynamo, DriveWorks), • Experience integrating BIM with production or manufacturing systems On Offer: • £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience), • 6-month fixed-term contract (with potential to extend), • 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday, 37 hours), • Predominantly office-based with occasional travel If the role is of interest, feel free to contact Martin on (phone number removed)
