Job Description Health Data Analyst - Full‑Time Location: Salisbury, MD Salary Range: $80,000 –$125,000 annually Schedule: Four‑day, 36-hour work week — Monday through Thursday In Office Position Position Summary The Data & Health Outcomes Analyst leads the collection, analysis, and reporting of healthcare and population health data to support quality improvement, patient safety, and total cost of care initiatives. This role serves as lead evaluator for SAMHSA and other funded programs, conducts root cause and outcomes analyses, and develops dashboards and data processes using EHR, CRISP, and other health information systems. The Analyst collaborates with clinical and operational teams, translates complex data into actionable insights, supports data literacy across the organization, and ensures compliance with HIPAA, CARF, and Maryland state regulations. Key Responsibilities • Lead the monitoring, collection, analysis, and reporting of healthcare data, including root cause analysis, logic model evaluation, health information exchange data review, and intervention outcomes assessment., • Serve as lead evaluator for SAMHSA and other funded programs., • Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, safety, quality, and overall healthcare delivery in collaboration with clinical and operational teams., • Design, implement, and maintain standardized data processes, pipelines, dashboards, and reports to support program tracking, compliance, and performance improvement., • Provide documentation and training to non-technical staff and support organizational data literacy., • Ensure data accuracy, security, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA, CARF standards, and Maryland state regulations., • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business or data analytics or bachelor’s degree with seven years of experience required, • Two years’ experience working with health information systems and health claims data preferred, • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite required, • Experience working with CRISP Data system, EHR, Tableau, Power BI, data management programming languages, and SQL preferred, • Experience within Population Health, total cost of care reduction strategies, value- based models, and knowledge of public behavioral health systems is preferred, • Current CPR and First Aid certification Why Join HealthPort?
