Job Description ModCorr offers rapid, efficient delivery and setup of minimum to maximum security correctional facilities and specialty units. All products are constructed offsite in a controlled environment and conform to the same building codes as traditional construction. ModCorr’s safe, secure and high-quality units comply with all American Correctional Association (ACA) and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Position Summary The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and organized material handling that supports construction and prefabrication projects. This position provides leadership, direction, and coordination for warehouse staff, ensuring that materials and equipment are received, stored, inventoried, and distributed accurately and on time. The Manufacturing Manager enforces company safety policies, supports strategic vision, and drives operational excellence through continuous improvement. This role reports directly to senior management and works closely with project teams, field supervisors, and vendors to ensure seamless supply chain operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safety Leadership • Enforce safety rules, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times., • Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure the proper use of PPE, lifting techniques, and powered equipment operation., • Promote a culture of accountability where safety is the top priority.Warehouse Operations, • Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and shipping of materials., • Maintain accurate inventory control through audits, cycle counts, and timely recordkeeping., • Ensure equipment and warehouse tools are properly maintained and operational., • Oversee logistics for material distribution to job sites and coordinate with transportation teams.Team Management, • Supervise and schedule warehouse employees to meet operational demands., • Conduct interviews, hire, train, and evaluate team members., • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance appraisals to improve productivity and morale., • Resolve employee concerns and collaborate with staff to drive efficiency and teamwork.Administration & Reporting, • Validate payroll and approve timekeeping for warehouse staff., • Monitor labor and material costs to maintain budget alignment., • Ensure timely and accurate completion of warehouse documentation, including shipping logs, inventory reports, and safety compliance forms., • Support management in developing process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Client & Vendor Interaction, • Serve as a professional representative when coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and internal project teams., • Ensure material deliveries meet quality standards and project requirements.Knowledge and Skills Required, • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or construction-related operations (5 years preferred)., • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, logistics, and warehouse operations., • OSHA 30 Certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain., • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks under deadlines., • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with inventory software preferred., • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity., • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands., • Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying., • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements)., • Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts and travel if required.
