Position Overview The Director of Sales will lead the commercial growth strategy for Winergy’s technical environmental testing and validation services. This leader will expand our footprint across hospitals, research institutions, universities, and pharmaceutical manufacturers—building scalable sales processes, cultivating key accounts, and delivering predictable, sustainable revenue growth. Location / Reporting • Company based Fort Wayne, IN, with offices in Chicago, Orlando, and Dallas. Preferred based in Chicago, Open to fully remote, • Reports to: President, • Manages: Sales / Business Development Team Key Responsibilities • Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting hospitals, research institutions, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and commercial labs, • Define target markets, ideal client profiles, and go-to-market strategies, • Develop a strong sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and manage the full sales cycle, • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and business development team, • Establish standardized sales processes (CRM utilization, pricing models, dashboards, forecasting), • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers (hospital administrators, lab directors, procurement leaders, etc.), • Partner cross-functionally with operations, technical, and marketing teams to ensure alignment, • Track market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform strategy, • Drive client satisfaction and retention through close collaboration with service teams Qualifications & Skills • 7+ years of B2B sales experience in technical or regulated industries (lab services, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, etc.), • 3+ years of sales leadership experience with a record of building and scaling teams, • Proven success achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets, • Strong understanding of hospital, lab, and pharmaceutical procurement processes, • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), • Willingness to travel as needed, • Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination of education and experience considered Preferred Qualifications • Technical or scientific background (engineering, microbiology, or related), • Experience selling validation or testing services to hospitals, pharmacies, or research labs, • MBA or advanced degree preferred Compensation & Benefits • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives, • Medical, dental, and retirement benefits, • Travel allowance and expense reimbursement, • Professional development support, • Flexible or remote work options Why Join Winergy • Lead and shape a high-growth business vertical within a niche, technical services market, • Entrepreneurial, collaborative culture with high visibility and impact, • Expanding demand across hospitals, research labs, and universities, • Trusted, technically skilled team dedicated to quality and innovation Company DescriptionWinergy is a growing service company specializing in the testing and certification of critical hospital and medical research safety equipment.
