The desired candidate will have previous experience in working in an Aerospace First Article role, specifically preparing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102. Responsibilities: Complete a thorough and accurate preparation of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with the customer and AS9102 requirements. Work with customer personnel to gain access to / obtain all the required supporting documentation to support the preparation / completion of the FAIRs. Where issues are identified, work with the customer to identify potential solutions to ensure the FAIR preparation process can proceed. Provide concise feedback to customer quality, engineering and design teams on road-blocks and facilitate feedback. Maintain FAI tracker for review status, outcome and any issues identified.Role Requirements: A minimum of 3 years, in the last 5 years, aerospace experience in either a quality engineering or manufacturing engineering capacity Strong and robust working knowledge of AS9102 at the current revision, in addition to a sound understanding of the requirements of AS9100.
