Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Engineering, Legal, Procurement, Quality, H&S (PRL) and HR. Maintain strong technical-commercial relationships with clients, adding value beyond price. Manage post-tender clarifications, pricing updates and contract negotiations. Lead project handover meetings to transition tender information to the Project Management and Delivery teams. In order to be successful in this role, you must have: Degree-level qualification (Electrical or Civil Engineering preferred). Strong IT proficiency. Duties to include: • Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation. • Cleaning in the GMP (sterile environment). • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed. • Ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs. • Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Supervisor. • Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders. • Attend training sessions appertaining to post. • Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Supervisor/Team Leaders. • Liaise daily with other members of the cleaning team, other staff, and customers. • All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined. Essential • Previous cleaning experience. • Full UK / EU manual driving licence. • Must have a good level of written and spoken English. • General good health. • Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day. • Prepared to always wear full uniform including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures. • Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP. • Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office. • Flexible, regarding ability to support other shift patterns when required. Desirable but not essential • Experience within a similar industry. • Team worker with a flexible approach. • Knowledge of COSHH. • An understanding of GMP and quality systems. • Good communication skills. • Machinery skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems across a number of commercial contracts in and around Glasgow. Liaise with contractors and suppliers to coordinate specialist works. Respond to emergency breakdowns and participate in an on-call rota if required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and energy efficiency projects. Production of detail technical quotations - including correct parts and labour times required to ensure profitability, cost control and client satisfaction. Maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements. Escalate issues to Supervisor/Contract Manager immediately. Collaborate effectively with a skilled team to achieve client objectives. To liaise with specialist sub-contractors and engineers with other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant / area without disruption to the client. Skills and Experience Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and fault finding. Additional skills in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., 18th Edition, plumbing, etc.). Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation.
