Our staff deploys and supports the latest technology, hardware, and remote working tools, with 24/7 system monitoring from our Shared Services centre. We collaborate closely with other business services to support the Firm’s global operations. Working closely with our business services colleagues in support of the Firm’s Finance, HR, Marketing, Practice Solutions, Global Technology Services is at the heart of the Firm’s global operations. The M365 Platform Manager sets the strategic and technical direction for the Firm’s M365 platform, overseeing its implementation, administration, and continuous improvement to meet legal and business needs. Responsibilities include managing governance and security, developing frameworks for new applications, enforcing security and compliance, collaborating with engineering on priorities and enhancements, and working with stakeholders to identify improvements and lead platform adoption. Preferred qualifications are experience deploying enterprise platforms in law firms, advanced governance and security expertise, strong change management skills, and proven ability to manage vendors and teams in direct and matrixed structures. Key Responsibilities • Set the M365 platform’s strategy and technical direction to align with the Firm’s values, business objectives, and data requirements., • Lead product planning and management for M365, ensuring integration of technical, engineering, application onboarding, and data governance priorities., • Oversee application and data onboarding to the M365 platform, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant integration., • Communicate M365 platform usage, technical updates, data management priorities, onboarding initiatives, and change activities to all stakeholders., • Represent the M365 platform’s technical, application, and data capabilities to Firm leadership., • Manage vendor relationships and monitor industry, application, and data management trends relevant to M365 to address current and future needs., • Conduct product surveys to inform technical, application, and data-driven enhancements for the M365 platform., • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and deliver technical, application, and data improvements within M365., • Oversee M365 platform development and release cycles, ensuring delivery of engineering, application, and data requirements., • Deliver technical features, application onboarding, and data functionality aligned with the Firm’s strategic goals and evolving business needs., • Maintain compliance with security, data privacy, and data management standards across the M365 platform., • Engage stakeholders to promote M365 platform adoption, application integration, and data stewardship through targeted communications and presentations. Qualifications And Skills • Extensive experience around Microsoft 365, the platforms technical design and conceptual thinking, • Ability to work in teams of highly skilled technical professionals, • Professional experience in working effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, technology teams and end users in a cross-cultural environment, • Ability to analyse and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal, • Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, • Strong analytical skills, and capability of grasping new concepts without prior experience, • Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible and creative, • Ability to travel or work overtime, as needed, • International experience is desirable What We Offer When you join us, you’ll be working directly with partners, business leaders and many other inspiring colleagues across our global network of offices. Location and Reporting This role is based in London, and reports into the Director of Technology Operations. Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
