We are currently for a Chief Information Officer to join a company in Birmingham, B9. Main duties for the Chief Information Officer role: • Manage day-to-day IT operations across the business, • Ensure systems, networks, and devices run securely and efficiently, • Act as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and improvement, • Maintain and support networks, servers, and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365), • Oversee hardware, software, and license management, • Deliver hands-on 1st–3rd line support to users, • Manage backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes, • Lead small-scale IT projects (upgrades, migrations, new systems), • Liaise with third-party suppliers and software vendors, • Experience with cloud migrations or VoIP systems, • Updating design software’s with latest versions, margins and catalogues, • PDQ card machine management – Annual PCI DSS Compliance, • Active Directory and Group Policy administration, • Install & configure a wide range of hardware (including printers, phones, laptops, biometric clocking systems), • Global administration with Office 365 Enterprise E3, • Occasional working out of hours for system configuration and update, • Print management, setup, install and diagnose ERP • Oversee day-to-day ERP operations and system performance, • Lead configuration, enhancement, and rollout of ERP modules (e.g., finance, inventory, production, HR, sales), • Work with departments to analyse processes and define system requirements, • Manage change requests, updates, integrations, and release cycles, • Maintain data integrity, security, and user access controls, • Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and support providers, • Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, • Deliver user training, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives, • Monitor and report on ERP usage, performance metrics, and adoption, • Support integration with third-party applications (e.g., CRM, BI), • Updating pricing files where required, • Support sale staff with issues and corrections within the system, • Update system to latest versions The Chief Information Officer role is an office based role
