This includes analyzing the automotive and adjacent markets and creating frameworks and systems that enable our Customer Groups to create high quality regional customer and pursuit specific strategies that drive sales growth. Sales Excellence responsibilities include conducting market opportunity and sales gap analyses providing actionable insights through sales and market data and evaluating the effectiveness of current strategies recommending areas of improvement and growth. For this role you will work closely with our regional sales leaders to identify opportunities to grow sales and coach them to create strategies to realise those opportunities. Ultimately you will help increase the overall performance of our global sales teams and ensure they have the strategies and tools in place to achieve their goals. What You Will Do • Lead develop and coordinate Harmans customer strategy framework with our regional VPs and SVPs and Sales groups, • Coach Customer Groups Leaders (SVP VPs and Snr Directors) in sales and customer strategies, • Lead collaboration and alignment opportunities between global and regional sales VPs/SVPs SBU leaders and product teams, • Analyze sales data and conduct gap analysis providing executive management and sales teams with intelligence to make strategic and customer account decisions, • Maintain and lead Harmans War Gaming programme to improve pursuit strategies, • Support portfolio management with market insights and data, • Report on the impact of sales strategies and programs to Divisional Head of Sales and VPs, • Support the divisions 5-year and 10 years sales planning cycle with analysis and act as a key communication link between Customer Groups and Strategic Business Units What You Need to Be Successful • Degree in Business or related field, • At least 10 years of experience in B2B Sales/Commercial environments with specific experience in automotive or technology industries preferable, • All-rounder talent and leadership skills, • Experience in developing Corporate and Customer Account Strategy, • Data analysis acumen and in-depth automotive business understanding, • In-depth knowledge of the Harman product portfolio and the technology roadmap, • Excellent international network within Harman across all divisions, • Strong influencing and communication skills, • Ability to work at Executive level Bonus Points if You Have • International experience and understanding of different cultures, • Prior experience in the sale or program management of infotainment/audio telematics and/or connected service, • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment while always maintaining good customer and internal relations., • Ability to assimilate information quickly efficiently and accurately from varying sources., • Ability to take initiative while prioritizing and meeting deadlines., • Tenacious but professional approach., • Flexible with a high degree of determination and perseverance What Makes You Eligible • You have a high proficiency in working in English., • Willingness to travel 30% of the time, • Willingness to work in a hybrid model What We Offer • Flexible work environment allowing for full-time remote work globally for positions that can be performed outside a HARMAN or customer location, • Access to employee discounts on world-class Harman and Samsung products (JBL HARMAN Kardon AKG etc.), • Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University, • Competitive wellness benefits, • Tuition reimbursement, • Be Brilliant employee recognition and rewards program, • An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development #LI-Hybrid You Belong Here HARMAN is committed to making every employee feel welcomed valued and empowered.
