Job DescriptionSalary: $7000 (provided completion of internship) Hybrid Home office & St. Paul, MN Midwest Dairy is excited to offer an Information Technology (IT) internship opportunity to students interested in communications, public relations, marketing, or agribusiness. Our IT Internship provides hands-on experience supporting a modern Microsoft-based environment, including Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and endpoint management. Interns work closely with our IT team on real projects involving helpdesk support, device setup, security best practices, and process improvements. This role is a great opportunity to build technical skills, learn how IT operates in a fast-moving organization, and make a meaningful impact from day one. What You Will Be Responsible For: • Helpdesk Support: Provide first-level assistance to staff by troubleshooting common hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues and documenting resolutions in the ticketing system., • Device Setup & Administration: Assist with configuring, imaging, and deploying laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, including performing updates and basic maintenance., • User & System Support: Help with account management activities such as password resets, onboarding/offboarding tasks, and access reviews., • Microsoft 365 Assistance: Support staff with Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other M365 tools, including guiding users through common workflows., • IT Projects & Documentation: Contribute to IT initiatives such as system upgrades, SharePoint improvements, or equipment rollouts, while creating and updating knowledge base articles to support staff training., • Perform other tasks as assigned., • Travel up to 10%, sometimes overnight, to meetings supporting organization initiatives. Requirements/Eligibility: • Eighteen (18) years old before the start of the internship, • Either a permanent resident of one of the following states: Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, and South Dakota OR Currently attending a two- or four-year college in one of these states., • A background in agriculture or dairy farming is NOT REQUIRED. We encourage candidates from all varying backgrounds to consider applying., • Pass a background check., • Current drivers license or have access to reliable transportation to on-site work or meeting locations., • Family members of Midwest Dairy farmer board directors or staff are ineligible for consideration unless the Midwest Dairy Corporate Board grants a special exception., • Candidates who are current Midwest Dairy state ambassadors or dairy princesses/candidates are not eligible unless they are willing to give up their ambassador or princess position if selected for the internship.
