This position oversees all daily lodging operations and serves as the operational steward of the Inn, ensuring every aspect of the guest journey—from pre-arrival through departure—is executed with precision and warmth. The Inn Manager is responsible for managing reservations strategy, guest communications, transportation logistics, front desk operations, and the coordination of all on-property services. This role requires a highly organized, anticipatory leader who can balance operational excellence with gracious, intuitive hospitality. Working closely with culinary, service, and farm teams, the Inn Manager ensures that the lodging experience reflects the same elevated standards, intentionality, and sense of place that define the broader guest experience. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Guest Experience & Hospitality • Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and articulate communication across phone, email, messaging, and in-person interactions., • Provide seamless on-site guest care, including arrival, welcome, valet coordination, luggage assistance, check-in, and check-outs., • Support guests with room service delivery, turn-down service, and general troubleshooting., • Build genuine rapport with guests, ensuring a personalized and elevated hospitality experience., • Protect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.Reservations & Communication, • Work with the reservations team to ensure a cohesive and elevated guest experience, • Maintain accurate guest notes, preferences, and dietary needs within PMS systems., • Answer, direct, and return phone calls and messages promptly., • Assist with guest gift purchases, packaging, and delivery.Concierge Services, • Maintain strong working knowledge of Sonoma and Napa County attractions and experiences; proactively expand local expertise., • Assist with the coordination of customized itineraries for lodging guests., • Collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure all guest activities and preferences are executed flawlessly.Audi Vehicle Experience Coordination, • Schedule and coordinate Audi guest vehicle experiences, including departure preparation and documentation., • Facilitate guest use of Audi vehicles and ensure all policies and procedures are followed., • Lead and support the lodging, breakfast, and guest services team to ensure consistent service standards., • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and onboarding of team members., • Provide clear communication, coaching, and feedback to support performance and accountability., • Serve as a point of escalation for guest and staff concerns during shifts., • Foster a collaborative, professional team culture aligned with SingleThread values.Team Collaboration & Operations, • Attend daily and weekly briefings and interdepartmental meetings across the reservations and restaurant departments., • Work closely with the General Manager, Guest Experiences Director, Reservations Manager, Concierge, and service teams to maintain exceptional guest experiences., • Contribute to day-to-day CRM and administrative functions., • Uphold SingleThread’s culture, professionalism, and dress code standards., • Perform additional duties based on business needs. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of inn management experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining, or comparable hospitality environment., • High school diploma or GED required; hospitality management degree preferred., • Hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams., • Proven ability to plan, manage, and elevate guest experiences., • Strong interpersonal skills with professionalism, discretion, and tact., • Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with strong grammar and brand voice alignment., • Exceptional organization, accuracy, and ability to stay composed under pressure., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, OpenTable, MEWS, or similar platforms., • Passion for creating thoughtful, memorable guest experiences., • Basic food terminology knowledge (training provided)., • Strong time management, scheduling, and calendar coordination skills., • Creative problem-solving and sound decision-making abilities., • Commitment to high-quality service and genuine hospitality., • Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting company insurance requirements., • Collaborative work style and ability to partner across departments., • Ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred., • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards, • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, • Ability to stand and/or sit for prolonged periods of time, • Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment, • Analytically minded: always thinking about how to use data to support decision-making.
