Job Description Job Title: Receptionist (Contingent) Job Category: Administration & Office Support Location: 11900 W Parmer Ln, Ste 150, Cedar Park, TX 78613 Work Schedule: 100% Onsite Payrate:$20 Job Overview The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing professional and courteous service while performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This role is 100% onsite and requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Greet and direct visitors in the office., • Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate personnel., • Retrieve messages from voicemail and forward to appropriate personnel., • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose, forward calls, take messages, or transfer to voicemail as appropriate., • Answer questions about the organization and provide address, directions, and other relevant information., • Monitor visitor access, issue passes when required, and update appointment calendars., • Prepare travel vouchers and take payments for services and products., • Receive, sort, and route mail; maintain and route publications., • Maintain fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve incoming faxes; create fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed., • Order, receive, and maintain office supplies., • Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating., • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear., • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl., • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds., • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)., • 1–2 years of related experience., • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications., • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals., • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence., • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees., • Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume)., • Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts., • Practical problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form., • Strong customer service skills, including managing difficult or emotional situations professionally., • Excellent communication skills (speaking clearly, listening actively, group presentations, writing clearly, editing for spelling/grammar)., • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, including giving and receiving feedback, building morale, and supporting team success., • Ability to work under pressure and interact respectfully with others., • Meeting participation and collaboration in group problem-solving., • Information analysis and practical application of problem-solving methods., • Presentation of numerical data and information clearly., • Tactful communication and conflict resolution skills.Company DescriptionStaffing Company (Confidential)Staffing Company (Confidential)
