Information Security Engineer Location: Leicester [Hybrid Working] Salary: Competitive + Benefits Shape the future of security at Mattioli Woods About the Role We're seeking a talented Information Security Engineer to join our growing team and shape the future of security at Mattioli Woods. You'll design secure solutions, establish security standards, and work alongside a collaborative, high-performing team to protect our systems, applications, and infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. What You'll Do • Lead the design and implementation of secure solutions and architectures for new projects, • Conduct threat modelling, security risk assessments, and business impact analyses, • Develop and enforce security standards, policies, and baselines across multiple platforms, • Guide secure cloud deployments, Azure AD configurations, identity management, and access control, • Embed security best practices into development and project delivery processes, • Collaborate with IT, development, and project teams to ensure consistent, pragmatic security, • Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response planning, • Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, • Partner with auditors, vendors, and external security service providers What We're Looking For • Minimum 5 years' experience in information security engineering or similar role, • Expertise in Microsoft Azure security services and SIEM tools (MS Sentinel), • Experience with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and Azure networking security, • Strong background in security risk assessments, threat modelling, and business impact analysis, • Knowledge of security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls, • Deep understanding of network, system, application security, cryptography, and identity management, • Experience with business continuity planning and disaster recovery, • Proven ability to lead projects, work autonomously, and influence stakeholders, • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, • Financial services experience is a plus Why Join Mattioli Woods?
