What we're looking for: We’re seeking an exceptional sales leader to drive our commercial strategy in partnership with the Head of Spaces. This role is perfect for someone with the energy to hustle for new business, the creativity to think beyond the obvious, and the ambition to elevate Studio Spaces’ profile in the events market. Working closely with the Head of Spaces, you will take ownership of planning and executing our sales strategy, continually identifying new ways to increase revenue and attract high-value clients. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, securing bookings, activating the venue, and managing the full sales journey — from first enquiry to signed contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, spots opportunities others overlook, and has the drive and resilience to turn ideas into real, measurable results. What you'll be accountable and responsible for: Sales • Lead and execute effective sales strategies that drive performance and deliver results., • Ensure all sales targets are achieved, with KPIs consistently monitored and measured against business-wide metrics., • Maintain the highest standards of sales operations across the venue., • Collaborate with the Head of Spaces to develop proactive, forward-thinking sales tactics that support both short- and long-term commercial success. Marketing • Partner with the central Marketing team and space leaders to deliver data-driven, evidence-based marketing strategies., • Ensure all marketing plans are executed effectively, targets are met, and KPIs are tracked and optimised., • Uphold excellence in marketing operations and ensure brand consistency across all outputs., • Act as a brand guardian, helping to grow and protect the Studio Spaces brand in line with guidelines set by the brand team. Finance • Ensure full compliance with Studio Spaces’ financial policies, procedures and reporting standards., • Provide accurate forecasting and reconciliation figures for the venue’s P&L, reporting regularly to senior leadership and the Head of Spaces., • Work closely with the accounts team to reconcile monthly P&L statements., • Produce financial and performance reports for senior leadership as required. Operations • Partner with the Operations team to ensure compliance with Studio Spaces policies, procedures, and operational standards., • Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure a seamless handover from Sales to delivery once an event is contracted, guaranteeing a smooth client experience. Team • Identify training needs and support ongoing development across the team, working with line managers and space leadership., • Foster a positive, inclusive work environment that reflects Studio Spaces’ values and culture. Other • Carry out additional duties as required to support the success of the venue and wider business. You'll need to have: • A proven track record in planning, contributing to, and executing successful sales strategies for complex, multi-space venues in a leadership role., • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within an event venue sales team or a closely related environment., • Clear evidence of commercial strength, including profitable selling, negotiation, maximising revenue, achieving targets, and developing sales strategies., • Experience managing, influencing, and motivating teams across sales and operations functions., • Strong knowledge of the local venue market and relationships with key venue-finding agencies., • Hands-on experience producing, managing, and delivering venue budgets, P&Ls, and financial reports alongside finance teams., • A solid understanding of how to collaborate with marketing, brand, and venue leaders to deliver data-driven, evidence-based marketing strategies., • The ability to set, manage, and monitor performance targets and KPIs for sales teams., • Confidence in managing multiple venue projects at once, with excellent prioritisation and multi-tasking skills., • Exceptional commercial acumen, ensuring alignment between business mission, strategy, and performance outcomes., • An open, honest, and collaborative communication style., • A positive, proactive approach, with the resilience and energy needed in a fast-paced environment., • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders., • Proficiency with Mac, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office tools.
