As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking to strengthen our UK Sales Team with the addition of a Senior Business Development Manager. About the Role We are seeking a professional with extensive experience in the 3PL and fulfillment sector. The ideal candidate will drive strategic growth initiatives and take a proactive, consultative approach to client engagement, delivering tailored solutions that address each client’s unique needs. They will possess a deep understanding of logistics operations, strong industry networks, and a proven track record of acquiring and managing mid-to-large size clients. This role is responsible for building and nurturing client relationships to consistently achieve sales objectives. The starting base salary for this position is £35,000 per year. Responsibilities • Identify, pursue, and secure mid-to-large enterprise clients within target industries to expand CIRRO’s 3PL and fulfillment business in the UK and Europe., • Develop and execute strategic sales and account acquisition plans aligned with company growth objectives., • Collaborate closely with the Client Success Team to ensure smooth onboarding, service excellence, and long-term client partnerships., • Understand and utilize company pricing structures, operational processes, and fulfillment capabilities to deliver effective, value-driven solutions—beyond price competition., • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging market opportunities, transforming insights into actionable strategies., • Take ownership and initiative—solve challenges independently and drive results with accountability. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, • 5–7 years of business development experience within 3PL, logistics, or fulfillment sectors., • Proven track record of acquiring and managing large-scale clients, with consistent success in meeting or exceeding sales targets., • Deep understanding of logistics operations and market trends, supported by a strong professional network., • Strategic thinker with a long-term partnership mindset and strong commercial acumen., • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and reporting skills., • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
