Job Description The Regional Director shall be responsible for the development, implementation, and quality operations of departmental services. The Regional Director shall direct operations on behalf of the corporation as authorized by the CEO/COO or Executive Director. A professional in the field of behavioral health, who will provide the supervision of assigned personnel, will assist in the completion of intake assessments, maintain expected occupancy rates, and ensure staff coverage in designated programs. The Regional Director functions as the administrator of specific programs to ensure effective daily departmental operations and actively perform required activities designed to achieve stated agency and program’s goals and objectives. The Regional Director promotes the professional development of assigned staff to enhance operational activities, and the specialized services provided to learners/clients of the assigned affiliate. The Regional Director is responsible for ensuring that services are rendered in accordance with all safety regulations, federal and state regulations, agency polices. Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor. The Regional Director supports the coordination with the organization’s operational units (e.g., IT, Talent Acquisition and Staff Success, HR, Procurement) to ensure the program maintains the infrastructure necessary for the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services. The Regional Director will be responsible for reviewing data and making recommendations to the Assistant Regional Director and/or Residential Manager and other leadership to improve the experience of individuals served and the employees who serve them. The Regional Director will work with various agencies to provide leadership in improving clinical services in the programs. The Regional Director will maintain a hybrid work schedule, which will include both office and site visit days. The Regional Director will maintain a caseload of at least 90 individuals served. of the organization, • Adhere to the Mission, Vision, and Values statementsRESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:, • OVERSIGHT OF ALL PROGRAM SERVICES, • Operations, • Continued fiscal monitoring and planning surrounding costs and services rendered, • Review all KPI reports (OT, time & attendance, under 40, service authorizations vs. services rendered) and ensure needed actions are completed, • Manage programs in accordance with established budgets, • Collaborate with the Program Team to ensure CLA’s are staffed according to budget, • Ensure data integrity in all systems, • Licensing, • Conduct quality oversite visits in cooperation with the Quality Assurance team to all CLA’s on at least a monthly basis and as directed., • Participate in preparation of annual licensing inspections, • Facilitate on-site inspection with the licensors in conjunction with the Director of Quality Assurance, • Respond to and assist with unannounced inspections in conjunction with the Director of Quality Assurance, • Participate in internal/external plans of correction with regards to audits/provider monitoring and EIM investigations, • Assure effective administration of Behavior Support Services and Restrictive Procedure Planning, • Collaborate with COO to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations, applicable laws, and best practice standards., • Supervision, • Provide supervision to assigned Program Coordinator of all Community Living Arrangements., • Review daily timecard for Program Coordinator, approve PTO and monitor attendance requests., • Monitor CLA oversights are completed by the Program Coordinator in accordance with requirements, • Monitor Program Coordinator training compliance, • Ensure the Program Coordinators are providing mentoring, coaching and supervision of the Assistant Program Coordinators., • Ensure that all team members are trained on the Individual Support Plan (ISP), • Oversee the timely completion of required documentation (daily/monthly), • Collaborate with recruiters on the hiring of qualified staff, • Availability to mentor team members as requested, • Development/ Referrals, • Collect, review, and analyze data on programmatic needs, • Make recommendations for the implementation of new programs, • Assist with the development of new programs as required, • Review incoming referral information and actively participate in filling CLA vacancies and transitions into programs, • Coordinate with team members regarding all internal moves and admission of new referrals, • Incident Management, • Complete training in Incident Management/ EIM., • Monitor Noted events to determine course of actions., • Ensure all incidents are elevated accordingly, and any follow-up is completed as required., • Participate and be an active member of the investigation review panel and peer review processes, which includes providing recommendations and ensuring for applicable corrective actions and outcomes of investigations, • Communication, • Maintain regular communication with the Program Team., • Enhance and maintain positive ongoing communication with stakeholders, families, direct reports, employees, and neighbors., • Ensure timely conflict/complaint resolution surrounding issues with government and/or monitoring entities, program participants, family members, advocates, and the community., • Participation in team meetings as required, • Elevate any concerns accordingly to the Executive Director, • Collaborate with Health Services as needed to ensure individual’s health, safety and welfare., • Training, • Always maintain regulatory training compliance., • Recommend revisions to training policies and procedures, • Ensure training concerns/non-compliance are elevated and completed accordingly, • Reinforce and support a culture of excellence, quality, and service in the organization to enhance the engagement of resident/caregiver for better quality outcomes and services., • Ensure a meaningful day for all Residents, • Be accessible to team members for crisis resolution., • Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned., • Respond to emergency needs of programs, • Read and respond timely to all emails., • Participate in development of and assure adherence with all policies and procedures., • Committee meeting attendance and participation in special projects as directed, • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and/or a combination of related work experience and secondary education PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:, • Five (5) experience in Human Services or Administration, • Strong knowledge of MH/IDD programmatic implementation including services rendered to consumer’s, reports and billing requirements and regulations, • Excellent communication skills
