About the Role We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Land Assembly (Utilities) team, providing expert advice and leadership on major infrastructure and regeneration projects. This role combines technical expertise, client management, and people leadership. You’ll work with project teams to deliver high-quality land services, manage stakeholder negotiations, and provide strategic input into land acquisition approaches and utilities issues. You’ll also have the chance to work directly with industry experts on a nationally significant DCO project, with opportunities to travel and engage with affected parties. What You’ll Do • Provide strategic advice on land acquisition approaches, risk identification and land strategy., • Act as Case Manager, leading negotiations and building trusted relationships with stakeholders., • Deliver professional support for land assembly and project delivery., • Negotiate Heads of Terms, easements, wayleaves and private agreements., • Advise clients on DCO, CPO and TWAO matters., • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to people leadership within the team., • Develop and present complex technical information to a range of stakeholders., • Strong background in surveying, ideally within utilities or renewables., • Experience negotiating HoTs, easements, wayleaves and landowner agreements., • Knowledge of utilities issues on major projects., • Familiarity with RICS Professional Standards., • Confident advising clients on DCO/CPO/TWAO processes., • Skilled in client and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and build trust.
