Then this might be the role for you... Remit Compass Associates have been mandated to support the appointment of a Solutions Lead for a leading national social care provider. This is a newly created, high-impact role designed to strengthen the organisation’s service proposition, improve bid quality and drive sustainable growth across key service lines. This position will play a critical role in enhancing how the organisation designs, positions and delivers care solutions, with an initial focus on the Extra Care market, alongside broader exposure to domiciliary care, reablement and supported living. Role Description The Solutions Lead will be responsible for the design, development and continuous improvement of innovative, person-centred service propositions, ensuring alignment with commissioning requirements, regulatory frameworks and market demand. You will act as the bridge between market intelligence, operations and bids, translating insight into commercially viable, differentiated solutions that improve win rates and support long-term growth. This role offers significant visibility across the senior leadership team and will play a key part in shaping future service strategy. Key Points • Accountable for developing and refining service propositions across multiple care services, • Lead market and competitor analysis to inform bid strategy and positioning, • Translate operational needs and commissioning requirements into scalable service models, • Work closely with Bids, Operations, Quality, Finance and Marketing teams, • Support mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring smooth transition into delivery, • Drive continuous improvement through data, benchmarking and market insight, • Regular engagement with commissioners, partners and internal stakeholders, • Field-based role with national travel (c.1–2 days per week) Role Overview As the Solutions Lead, you will take ownership of shaping and evolving the organisation’s service offering, ensuring it remains competitive, innovative and aligned to the evolving social care landscape. You will operate with a strategic and commercially focused mindset, balancing innovation with practical delivery, and ensuring solutions are both high-quality and financially sustainable. This role requires a confident communicator who can influence at all levels, from operational teams through to Executive leadership, while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes and growth. Requirements • Strong experience within Extra Care or a closely aligned social care setting, • Background in operations, transformation, commissioning or service design, • Proven ability to develop innovative service models and improve commercial outcomes, • Experience supporting or leading bid development and solution design, • Strong understanding of social care frameworks, commissioning and regulatory requirements, • Commercially astute with the ability to interpret market data and competitor activity, • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, • Highly analytical, solution-focused and comfortable working autonomously Location This is a home-based role with flexibility on location across the UK, with regular national travel required.
