Job Description Our Opportunity: The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging and effective learning experiences that equip team members with the knowledge and skills needed to perform successfully in their roles. This position leads in-person and virtual training sessions, assesses participant comprehension and application of training content, and provides timely feedback to managers regarding participant progress, strengths, and development opportunities. The Training Specialist ensures training is interactive, aligned with adult learning principles, and designed to positively impact individual and organizational performance. What You'll Do in This Role: • Facilitate high-impact in-person and virtual training sessions for new hire orientation, position, product, and process-specific training needs, as well as compliance and procedural knowledge, ensuring training delivery is engaging and aligned with adult learning principles and diverse learning styles., • Assess participant comprehension and readiness through observation, discussion, knowledge checks, assessments, and practical application exercises. Monitor participant engagement, participation, and performance throughout training programs to ensure understanding of key concepts and expectations. Provide clear, timely feedback to managers regarding participant progress, strengths, areas for improvement, and overall readiness to perform job responsibilities., • Drive the transfer of learning of participants by creating, preparing and organizing training materials, resources, and technology in advance of each session to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience. This includes partnering with departmental resources/SMEs to ensure training content reflects current processes and procedures, coordinating participant materials, testing presentation tools and virtual platforms, and ensuring all resources are accurate, accessible, and ready to support a well-structured training environment., • Coordinate, schedule, and communicate training session details to team members and their managers, ensuring participants are informed of training expectations, logistics, and required preparation in advance. Manage training calendars and enrollment, confirm attendance, and provide reminders or updates as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for all team members., • Design, develop, and evaluate programs using diverse techniques (role-playing, simulations, etc.). Create training manuals, multimedia aids, and perform needs assessments. Revises materials based on audit results, changing procedures, and feedback from internal/external members and subject matter experts., • Partner with managers, performs job observations, facilitate focus groups and administers surveys to identify knowledge gaps and development needs for team members. Recommend additional training or coaching when appropriate., • Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, all HR regulations, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, in addition to all company policies. What You'll Bring To CCF: • Two to Five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions., • Minimum of two years of eLearning, instructional design and adult education facilitation, including at least one year facilitating financial institution operations., • Minimum one year Learning Management System experience., • A high school degree or GED is required., • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills., • A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required., • In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with team members can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Proven ability to demonstrate patience, diplomacy, tact and professionalism and maintain confidentiality regarding issues of a sensitive nature., • Excellent facilitation and project management skills: ability to identify and implement innovative solutions and work collaboratively with team members of all levels., • Superior communication skills; communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance., • Planning/Time Management; demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle multiple priorities, problem-solve, exercise good judgement, and employ initiative., • Ability to act as a role model as demonstrated by professional business appearance and enthusiastic tone and demeanor., • Ability to design and develop engaging and interactive training using a variety of modalities and methods., • Strong content management skills; detail and process oriented., • Minimum four years of MS Office Suite.
