We're looking for an Infrastructure Administrator I to join our IT team and grow into a critical role supporting our enterprise environment. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing position, and it's built for someone who's ready to dig in, ask good questions, and take real ownership over time. Why this role is worth your attention This isn't a helpdesk job with a fancy title. You'll be working across a broad, enterprise-grade infrastructure stack, covering everything from networking and servers to cloud platforms and security. You'll start by learning the environment, then take on real responsibilities, and over time, own critical systems yourself. What you'll be doing You'll work across a wide range of infrastructure areas, including: • LAN/WAN networking, routers, switches, and UPS devices, • Windows and ESX server environments, including email, Active Directory, file, and print servers, • Citrix XenDesktop and VMware virtualization platforms, • Microsoft SQL Server and associated applications, • Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online, • Authentication and authorization systems, including Active Directory, SSO, Azure AD, ADFS, and MFA, • Enterprise storage, backup, and recovery infrastructure, • Network, server, and workstation security, including firewalls and intrusion detection, • Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems, • Troubleshooting and resolving escalated Service Desk tickets, • Supporting workstation imaging, distribution, and inventory tracking, • Managing hardware, software, and firmware upgrades across platforms, • Performing server and network security audits, • Documenting infrastructure configurations and developing support procedures, • Assisting with capacity planning, system monitoring, and performance reporting, • Supporting IT infrastructure projects alongside the IT Architect You might be a great fit if... • You're a natural troubleshooter who enjoys figuring out why something isn't working, • You want a role where the scope grows as you do, • You communicate well, both with technical colleagues and with non-IT staff who just need help, • You take pride in building reliable systems, not just putting out fires, • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or equivalent work experience, • 3+ years of IT support or network-related experience, • Familiarity with Windows workstation and server environments (Windows 7/10 and Server 2008 through 2019), • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Solid analytical and problem-solving instincts, • Networking training or experience (CCNA, Network+), • A+ or Microsoft MCITP certification Our people are the heart of our success. Compensation Range $74,000.00 - $115,000 The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Minnesota Omnibus Labor and Industry Policy Bill Article 7 Section 2. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location. The total annual compensation package may consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate, after a qualifying period, in our performance and discretionary incentive bonus program(s). The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Minnesota Omnibus Labor and Industry Policy Bill Article 7 Section 2 and the Illinois Salary Transparency amendment to the Equal Pay Act of 2003. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, skills, prior work experience, competencies, and geographic work location.
