This role combines traditional accounting responsibilities with financial and operational data analysis to help improve visibility into company performance and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with accounting systems, financial statements, Microsoft excel and large datasets while building reports and identifying trends that drive operational and financial improvements. This role will work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams to provide accurate financial information and meaningful business insights. Some of your day-to-day tasks? Accounting & Financial Operations • Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records, • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, • Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, • Track, monitor and account for long-term construction type contract revenue recognition and reporting, • Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports, • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies, • Assist with external and internal audit requests, • Monitor and analyze costs, variances, and operational financial performance, • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities, • Develop and maintain financial dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting, • Support leadership and operational teams with data-driven financial insights, • Build and maintain financial models and forecasting tools, • Improve reporting efficiency through automation, reporting tools, and data analytics, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or related field, • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modeling, formulas), • Experience working with ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar), • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, • 3–5 years of professional experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related role, • Experience performing account reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close, • Experience working with financial data analysis, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms, • CPA or CPA candidate, • Experience with ERPs and BI tools (such as Power BI or similar platforms), • Experience working with SQL, data analysis tools, or automation
