The Role: Accounting Manager, East Coast The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of our East Coast terminals, PS ATL and PS MIA, ensuring accurate accounting records, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial reporting. This role focuses on managing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency. This role will also act as a strategic partner to local leadership, the Managing Director of the property, and corporate stakeholders, ensuring financial objectives align with overall business goals. Additionally, the role will involve responding to ad-hoc financial requirements from the corporate office, supporting group-wide financial initiatives, and implementing best practices. Reports to: Director of Accounting Responsibilities & Expectations • Complete the month-end close process at PS ATL & PS MIA level, which includes Revenue Recognition, monthly accruals, bank reconciliation, fixed asset and inventory reconciliation, prepaid management., • Complete the financial reporting process, which includes the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and corporate leadership., • Support the FP&A team and the VP of Finance during Budget and LRP (Long Range Plans) for the facility on an annual basis and Forecast on a quarterly basis., • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and company policies., • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports., • Collaborate with ATL/MIA operational leaders to ensure budget adherence and financial efficiency., • Analyze financial performance and KPIs with local leadership and Corporate executives: identifying variances, trends, and areas for cost savings, • Support accounts payable and receivable for the ATL/MIA location, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry, • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles and tax compliance, • CPA highly desired but not required., • Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel, • Experience with financial tools: Coupa, Toast, Xtrachef, Expensify, Bill, Stripe., • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Effectively communicate and collaborate both verbally and in writing Employee Benefits • Employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term and short-term disability, • 401K retirement plan with company matching, • Health and Dependent care FSA and HSA with company matching, • Hybrid work environment – 3 days a week in office, • Merit-based raises and bonuses, • Parental benefits 100% paid up to 6 weeks, • Friends & Family Discounted PS use, • Unlimited PTO, • Monthly gym membership and cell phone reimbursement, • Paid training, • A great career path with promotion opportunities Compensation range $125,000 -$130,000/annually, plus Bonus potential.
