Website: What Were Looking For We are seeking a Full-Time Executive Director of Clinical Healthcare Operations to provide executive-level operational leadership and oversight for the Clinical Healthcare & Behavioral Health Portfolio. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare operations leader with strong knowledge of behavioral health operations, compliance readiness, staffing coordination, documentation accountability, billing readiness, workflow management, performance reporting, and multi-program leadership. What Youll Do • Oversee day-to-day operational execution across assigned healthcare and behavioral health programs, • Ensure operational consistency, workflow accountability, and service delivery standards across all assigned entities, • Implement operational directives issued by enterprise leadership and the Chief Operating Officer, • Coordinate communication between program leadership, administrative teams, compliance personnel, billing departments, and executive leadership, • Monitor operational workflows and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency, accountability, and performance, • Supervise assigned program leaders, operational managers, supervisors, coordinators, and administrative staff, • Monitor staffing plans, operational coverage, scheduling coordination, and workforce accountability, • Support recruitment, onboarding coordination, staff development, and leadership coaching initiatives, • Address operational performance concerns and support corrective action planning when necessary, • Coordinate operational support systems for outpatient mental health, psychiatric rehabilitation, Behavioral Health Home, primary care, pharmacy, and laboratory operations, • Monitor scheduling workflows, intake coordination, referrals, patient access, follow-up procedures, and continuity of care processes, • Support coordination between clinical leadership and operational teams to ensure effective service delivery, • Support regulatory readiness efforts for audits, inspections, accreditation reviews, licensing reviews, and payer evaluations, • Monitor documentation accountability, staff training compliance, credentialing coordination, and operational controls, • Assist with corrective action plans, compliance initiatives, and operational readiness activities, • Monitor workflows affecting billing readiness, documentation completion,authorizations, eligibility verification, and service reporting, • Coordinate with billing, credentialing, and administrative support teams regarding operational barriers affecting reimbursement, • Track operational issues contributing to delayed documentation, billing deficiencies, or revenue-cycle concerns, • Monitor operational performance indicators including staffing efficiency, productivity, census, utilization, and workflow performance, • Support budget planning, operational forecasting, staffing coordination, and service line performance reviews, • Prepare operational reports, workflow updates, performance summaries, and executive reporting materials, • Assist with operational planning for new healthcare and behavioral health programs, service lines, and expansion initiatives, • Support stabilization and restructuring efforts for underperforming or developing programs, • Provide regular operational updates to the Chief Operating Officer regarding staffing, compliance concerns, operational risks, program performance, service delivery issues, and organizational needs, • Facilitate meetings with program leaders, operational teams, compliance personnel, billing support, and administrative staff, • Coordinate with HR, finance, compliance, IT, administration, billing, credentialing, and property management teams regarding operational priorities, • Monitor operational risks involving staffing, compliance, billing readiness, documentation accountability, patient access, licensure, audits, financial controls, and service delivery, • Escalate urgent operational, financial, compliance, staffing, or patient safety concerns to executive leadership immediately, • Support crisis response coordination, continuity planning, and operational recovery efforts during staffing shortages, inspections, service disruptions, or emergency situations Work Schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 40 hours per week. Scheduling needs may vary based on business demands, audits, inspections, staffing concerns, program deadlines, urgent compliance matters, patient care issues, and service delivery requirements. Evening, weekend, or emergency operational availability may be required as necessary. Travel Requirements • Approximately 50% travel required, • Company vehicle provided, • No additional travel compensation provided Education, Certifications, & Qualifications • Masters degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services Administration, Behavioral Health Administration, Nursing Administration, or a closely related field, • Valid drivers license required, • Proven leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, outpatient clinical operations, psychiatric rehabilitation, primary care operations, or a related regulated service environment, • Demonstrated experience managing program operations, staff accountability, documentation standards, compliance workflows, audits, performance expectations, and service delivery systems, • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, documentation readiness, regulatory expectations, credentialing coordination, billing readiness, staffing models, internal reporting, and performance monitoring, • Proven ability to lead multiple programs, departments, or locations while maintaining compliance, quality, accountability, and operational discipline, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Strong organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and follow-through skills, • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion, • Ability to work independently while remaining aligned with C-suite direction, • Ability to manage competing priorities, urgent deadlines, and complex operational issues, • Strong ability to build systems, standardize workflows, and improve accountability, • Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or clinical operations experience strongly preferred, • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory, management, or program leadership experience strongly preferred, • Experience working with outpatient behavioral health, OMHC, PRP, Behavioral Health Home, primary care, pharmacy, laboratory, or integrated healthcare programs preferred, • Experience with CARF, Joint Commission, state licensing, Medicaid, Medicare, payer audits, or similar regulatory/accreditation environments preferred, • Experience with EHR systems, billing workflows, credentialing systems, authorization tracking, and documentation audits preferred, • Experience managing multi-site or multi-entity operations preferred, • Experience creating operational policies, workflows, reports, dashboards, and corrective action plans preferred, • Any applicable professional healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative licensure must be maintained in good standing if required for the individuals professional background or assigned operational responsibilities, • Must maintain compliance with all organizational, regulatory, credentialing, and training requirements applicable to assigned programs and operational oversight responsibilities Working Conditions • Work may occur in administrative offices, healthcare program sites, outpatient clinics, and other assigned locations, • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare environment, • Must be able to manage urgent issues, competing priorities, and sensitive information, • May require occasional evening, weekend, or urgent availability depending on operational needs, • Must be able to travel between assigned locations as required, • Must maintain professionalism when interacting with staff, clients, patients, families, regulators, vendors, payers, and executive leadership Physical Demands • Ability to travel between program sites, administrative offices, partner locations, meetings, inspections, and other business-related locations as required, • Ability to manage urgent issues, competing priorities, and operational deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment, • Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with staff, clients, patients, families, regulators, vendors, payers, and executive leadership, • Ability to review reports, documentation, audits, schedules, operational records, and compliance-related materials, • Ability to work occasional evening, weekend, or urgent operational hours depending on operational needs Why Work With American Homestays • Competitive hourly compensation, • Stable full-time W-2 employment, • Executive-level leadership opportunity within a growing organization, • Opportunity to oversee multiple healthcare and behavioral health programs, • Mission-driven operational environment supporting health and human services organizations, • Collaborative leadership culture with opportunities to strengthen systems, workflows, and organizational performance How to Apply Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume and qualifications for consideration.
