One Call Consultants are looking for a Plumber / Multi Trader to join our Facilities / Maintenance client based in Birmingham Job Title: Reactive & Commercial Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative • Location: Mobile/Field-based (covering multiple sites), • Industry: Facilities Management, Property Services, Retail/Commercial, • Salary Range: Approx. £38k- 40k+ per annum (DOE) + OT Key Responsibilities • Reactive Plumbing: Attend emergency call-outs, diagnosing and repairing leaks, burst pipes, blocked drains, faulty taps, urinals, WC flushers, and toilet seats., • Commercial Maintenance (PPM): Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on water systems, pumps, valves, and sanitary ware in accordance with site schedules., • Multi-Trade Tasks: Carry out minor building fabric repairs, including basic carpentry (fixing locks, door closures, boxing in), patch tiling, patch plastering, and painting/decorating., • Installations: Perform small-scale installations, such as replacing TMV valves, radiators, or hot/cold water pipework., • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work complies with Water Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and Company Procedures, completing risk assessments (RAMS) upon arrival at site., • Administration: Use CAFM systems or mobile PDAs to receive jobs, update work status, and record materials used., • Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor, communicate effectively with clients/tenants, and ensure high-quality service. Essential Qualifications & Experience • Education: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)., • Experience: Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and reactive repairs (minimum 2–3 years)., • Multi-Trade Skill: Ability to work across at least one other trade (e.g., carpentry, tiling)., • Licence: Full UK Driving License.
