Solihull Indoor Bowls Club is located off Widney Lane We are a busy social club hosting a variety of evening and weekend events. We require experienced bar staff to cover a range of shifts on a weekly rota, so flexibility is a must. Evening shifts would be 6.30pm to 11.30pm. Friday and Saturday 7pm to Midnight. Daytime shifts would be 9am to 2pm or 5pm. There will be some lone working due to certain smaller events. Responsibilities Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Weekly cleaning tasks to be completed Comply with all food and beverage regulations Reconciling Tills Safely locking up the club including setting the alarm and locking the external gates. This role includes supervising staff, ensuring high customer service standards, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
