Job Title: Employability Tutor (HE) (College of Food)\nLocation: Birmingham\nSalary: £23,097 - £24,450 per annum pro rata of £35,608 - £37,694 per annum\nJob type: Permanent, Part Time (24 hours per week)\nUCB is an equal opportunities employer. We are TEF rated Silver, with a Good Ofsted rating.\nThe Role:\nHired provides careers, employability and placement services to our students. We currently have a vacancy for an Employability Tutor supporting both placement provision for established and new HE courses and building employability and career management skills to deliver positive graduate outcomes. This role supports students within the department of Birmingham College of Food.\nYou will need to develop strong links with UCB Schools and Departments regarding the service, as well as engage directly with employers to source and develop partnership and placement opportunities.\nThe successful candidate will have knowledge of supporting students, either into placements/work experience, or have recent industry experience relevant to the hospitality sector, ideally within culinary.\nYou will have excellent communication and organisation skills, the ability to work with a diverse range of clients, and proficiency in administration and the use of IT.
