Job DescriptionDescriptionThe Legal Executive Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and practice support to senior attorneys across investment and residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) functions. This role is designed to take day-to-day administrative and coordination responsibilities off the legal team, allowing attorneys to focus on substantive legal and transactional work. The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly responsive professional who thrives in an unpredictable environment, understands legal and financial concepts, and serves as a trusted partner to attorneys and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to attorneys across all aspects of internal legal practice, • Oversee high volumes of email, prioritizing action items and filing non-essential correspondence appropriately, • Organize, maintain, and track legal and transactional documents to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and version control, • Coordinate signature collection and manage end-to-end document execution workflows, • Draft initial versions of memos, diligence materials, and counterparty documents with attorney guidance, • Translate attorney concepts and notes into polished PowerPoint presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences, • Handle day-to-day diligence requests from internal teams and external counterparties, • Coordinate and track recurring compliance-related tasks and mortgage licensing logistics Serve as a proactive point of follow-up on projects to track status, drive progress, and meet deadlines., • Manage calendars, schedules, travel arrangements, expense reports, and attorney availability, proactively managing access and priorities, • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience., • 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys as an Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant, or Paralegal., • Demonstrated comfort working directly with attorneys., • Experience in the finance industry, with a strong preference for mortgage-related experience., • Exposure to mortgages, RMBS, structured finance, or capital markets is highly desirable., • Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)., • Some experience with generative AI tools., • Strong work ethic, follow-through, and a "get-things-done" mindset.Key Competencies:, • Practice & Executive Support: Ability to support attorneys across all administrative and internal practice needs with minimal direction., • Organization & Tracking: Exceptional ability to track documents, signatures, deadlines, and compliance tasks., • Communication & Responsiveness: Highly responsive, proactive communicator who follows through and closes loops., • Business & Legal Understanding: Ability to understand legal and financial discussions well enough to translate concepts into materials and action items., • Adaptability & Learning Agility: Learns quickly on the job, adapts to changing priorities, and thrives in an unpredictable environment.How This Role Demonstrates Our Values:, • Integrity: Manages sensitive legal and financial information with discretion and professionalism., • Collaboration: Partners closely with attorneys, compliance, finance, and business teams to support transactions and operations., • Excellence: Takes ownership of administrative and coordination responsibilities to enable high-performing legal teams., • Great compensation package, including competitive base pay, • Discretionary annual bonus opportunity, • Invictus medical, dental and vision is covered at 100% for all tiers., • We offer FSA’s for healthcare, dependent care, transit and commuter costs., • Safe harbor 401(k) match of 4%; employees need 3-months of service to be eligible to participate.
