My client is a well-established and leading Financial Planning Practice with offices in an attractive rural location, just under ten miles north of Norwich, they have a strong client following and provide informed, impartial and independent financial advice. \n My client is looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their well-established Client Services Team. \n Working hours – Monday to Friday – initially 9am to 5pm with flexible working arrangements once initial training completed (up to two days working from home). \n Total Hours per week-37.5 hours \n Main Responsibilities \n Summary of Role \n You will deal with the day-to-day administration requirements of the business to deliver to my clients Service Level Agreements and achieve great Key Performance Indicators. \n Handle day to day post routines including: - \n\n • Scanning and filing relevant post\n, • Franking and preparing post out\n\n General Office Duties including: - \n\n • Answering calls and taking messages\n, • Dealing with client queries\n, • Updating ‘task’ management system\n, • Updating my clients back-office system\n, • Welcoming visitors, making refreshments\n, • Managing adviser’s appointments\n\n Adviser Support including: - \n\n • Requesting and collating plan information\n, • Assisting in client meeting preparation\n, • Preparing client letters and illustrations\n, • Liaising with clients and providers\n\n Ongoing Client Reporting and Review Documentation including: - \n\n • Producing and sending portfolio reports to clients\n, • Preparing review documents for adviser\n, • Preparing fund performance information\n\n Trading and New Business Processing including: - \n\n • On-line submission of pension and investment applications\n, • Buying and selling trades on Investment Platforms\n, • Submitting client’s income requirements\n, • Fund switch trading on investment platforms\n, • Checking completion of all trades\n, • Medical underwriting applications with clients for life cover\n\n Professional Qualifications: \n You will ideally be working towards the Diploma in Financial Planning or have a willingness to begin your studies. \n Qualification Requirement \n\n • Essential - GCSE or equivalent - 5 subjects including Maths and English level 4 or above.\n, • Desirable – A Levels - 2 subjects C or above or equivalent\n\n Minimum Experience \n The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role. \n Desired skills and personal qualities \n\n • Communication skills\n, • Attention to detail\n, • Problem solving skills\n, • Presentation skills\n, • Administrative skills\n, • Analytical skills\n, • Team working\n, • Patience\n, • Professional email/letter writing\n\n Benefits:- \n\n • A competitive Salary of £25,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)\n, • Bonus scheme\n, • Death in Service\n, • Pension Contributions\n, • 25 days holiday\n\n
