Job Description Stock Clerk – TADSS Warehouse Support (Fort Hood, TX) Position Summary The Stock Clerk supports Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) operations at the Training Support Center (TSC) by performing warehouse, inventory, and property accountability functions. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and maintaining Government property in compliance with Army regulations, contract requirements, and established performance standards. Primary Responsibilities • Receive, inspect, store, and issue TADSS equipment, supplies, and materials to authorized users, • Maintain accurate accountability of all Government property, including documentation of issues, turn-ins, and inventory records, • Perform routine and periodic inventories in accordance with Army supply regulations (e.g., AR 710-2, AR 735-5), • Inspect returned equipment for serviceability, cleanliness, completeness, and maintenance requirements, • Record and track all property transactions using required systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, TS-MATS), • Assist with shipping, receiving, staging, and warehouse organization operations, • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) to move and store inventory, • Support work order processing, including issuing, tracking, and completing requests for equipment, • Identify and report lost, damaged, or unserviceable property in accordance with contract timelines, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, • Minimum two (2) years experience in military stock operations, • Practical experience with Army logistics management systems and associated military systems for stock control and supply records keeping highly preferred, • Familiar with TS-MATS, TADSS and Microsoft Office, • Ability to be licensed for and utilize Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) equipment for upload and download of freight from transport vehicles; in and around the warehouse for storage and maintenance of property and to assist customers as required, • Ability to pass a background check, DOD Security Clearance preferred, • High School diploma or GED, • US Citizen, • Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member, • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, • Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude, • Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
