Regional Service Manager – Central Region Heavy Material Handling Plant £56,401 + £10,800 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Family PMI + Pension Ideal Candidate Location – Midlands / Central / Birmingham (Visa sponsorship is not available for this role) A global engineering manufacturer in the heavy material handling plant equipment sector is hiring in its UK service leadership team and is now recruiting a Regional Service Manager for the Central Region. The area primarily covers central England and South Wales. If you’re an experienced service leader who thrives on developing people, improving performance, and driving commercial growth, this is a role with real influence, autonomy, and long‑term progression. The Opportunity You’ll lead a team of Field Service Engineers delivering maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and contract support for heavy material handling equipment used in demanding industrial and port environments. You will be field-based, with regular visits to our UK HQ in the Midlands. Your focus will be to: • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing regional service team, • Drive service sales growth across digital solutions, upgrades, refurbishments, and contracts, • Ensure service delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and safe working practices, • Manage regional performance, costs, planning, and resource allocation, • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, • Support wider business strategy and translate it into regional action, • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue and margin targets This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll shape the region’s performance and play a key part in the UK service operation.
