Transformation Office Manager About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Transformation Office Manager to play a pivotal leadership role within our Programme Delivery team. This is a high‑impact position responsible for the strategic design, operation and performance of our Transformation Office (PMO), enabling the successful delivery of a large‑scale, multi‑year transformation portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Programme Delivery, you will lead the Transformation Office, ensuring enterprise‑level governance, portfolio oversight, performance management and assurance. You’ll maintain a clear, integrated view of the transformation portfolio, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities while driving value, quality and delivery excellence. This is an opportunity to shape how transformation happens across the organisation — building capability, strengthening governance, and enabling teams to deliver meaningful, lasting change. What You’ll Be Doing You will: Provide strategic direction, support and challenge to Transformation Project Managers and delivery teams Lead the Transformation Office (PMO), owning portfolio‑level governance, controls and performance management Maintain an integrated view of scope, schedule, cost, benefits, risks and dependencies across the transformation portfolio Ensure initiatives remain aligned to the Transformation Roadmap and strategic priorities Act as the escalation point for portfolio‑level risks, issues and dependency conflicts Lead PMO input into demand management, capacity planning and resource allocation Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment across strategic programmes Support data‑driven prioritisation to maximise value delivery Line‑manage and develop PMO team members, building a high‑performing, capable function Support succession planning and capability uplift within the Transformation Office Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across processes, tools and ways of working Design, implement and continuously improve PMO governance frameworks, standards and controls Own and maintain the Transformation Office Playbook, ensuring consistent application Lead portfolio assurance activities including health checks, deep dives and independent reviews Ensure decision‑making forums are supported with timely, insight‑led reporting Partner with the Head of Programme Delivery on portfolio shaping, prioritisation and sequencingWhat You’ll Bring To succeed in this role, you will have: A strategic mindset with the ability to align delivery activity to business goals Strong adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Resilience and the ability to remain productive and positive under pressure An innovative, improvement‑focused mindset Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide teams Demonstrable experience implementing best‑practice frameworks across large‑scale transformation programmes Strong stakeholder management and executive‑level communication skills Experience coordinating risks, issues, dependencies and impacts across complex portfolios Financial and commercial acumen to support investment and prioritisation decisions Experience facilitating resource allocation and capacity planning A track record of operating as a senior member of a transformation or programme office in a complex organisation A relevant third‑level qualification or equivalent experience Experience working within a federated modelWhy Join Us?
