Job Description New Jersey Foreclosure Paralegal Employer: Law Firm Location: Princeton, NJ or Cherry Hill, NJ (Either office) Schedule: Full Time (35 hrs/week) | Hybrid (3in /2 out) Eligible After 90 Days Job Type: Direct Hire | Permanent Compensation: $70-79K Our client, a long-established multi-office law firm, is hiring two experienced New Jersey Foreclosure Paralegals to support its busy Creditors’ Rights and Residential Foreclosure practice. This is a direct-hire, permanent role based in either Princeton or Cherry Hill, with hybrid flexibility available after the first 90 days. This is a strong opportunity for a foreclosure paralegal with hands-on New Jersey experience who can do more than process templates. The firm is looking for someone who understands NJ foreclosure procedure, can draft original complaints, review title, manage contested foreclosure workflows, and keep a high-volume docket moving accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities • Draft and file New Jersey residential foreclosure pleadings, including original foreclosure complaints, • Support contested foreclosure matters through key litigation milestones, • Review, analyze, and interpret title reports and title-related documents, • Identify title issues and coordinate corrections, resolutions, and follow-up, • Maintain accurate docketing, calendaring, and case tracking in a high-volume practice, • Manage foreclosure workflows in accordance with lender and mortgage servicer client requirements, • Work with attorneys, internal teams, lenders, servicers, vendors, and court personnel as needed, • Use servicer platforms and firm systems to track deadlines, filings, documents, and case status, • Assist with document management, filing preparation, and compliance with client-specific SLAs, • Support the foreclosure team across the Princeton and Cherry Hill offices Qualifications • 3+ years of dedicated New Jersey foreclosure paralegal experience in a law firm setting, • Strong knowledge of NJ foreclosure procedures, court filings, and foreclosure litigation workflow, • Proven ability to independently draft original foreclosure complaints and related pleadings, • Contested foreclosure experience strongly preferred, • Strong title review experience, including reading title reports, identifying issues, and helping resolve defects, • Experience with NJ court filing systems and foreclosure-related litigation deadlines, • Familiarity with LPS, Black Knight, Tempo, or similar servicer platforms preferred, • FirstLegal or vendor coordination experience a plus, • Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage volume, • Comfortable working with attorneys, internal teams, and lender / servicer clients Technology • LPS / Black Knight / Tempo preferred, • NJ court e-filing systems, • FirstLegal or similar vendor platforms a plus, • Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel, • Case management, docketing, document management, or foreclosure workflow systems Schedule / Benefits / Culture • Direct-hire, permanent position, • Full-time, hourly non-exempt role, • Compensation up to $45/hour DOE, • Overtime eligible after 40 hours at time-and-a-half, • In-office initially, with hybrid eligibility after 90 days, • Hybrid schedule after 90 days: 3 days in office / up to 2 days WFH, • Medical benefits through Horizon BCBS, including EPO and Direct Access options, • Dental through Delta DPO and DHMO, • Vision through VSP via Horizon, • 401(k), no employer match noted, • Discretionary annual bonus, typically paid in March following the calendar year and based on firm performance, • NJ statutory short-term disability and optional voluntary STD/LTD, • Annual performance review with potential discretionary increase, • Collegial, respectful office environment with work-life balance focus, • Firm social events, including holiday party, summer picnic, and monthly activities
